Conditions
Both Outdoor Direct and the Buyer
accept the following Terms and
Conditions
Definitions
In these terms and conditions “the
Buyer” means the purchaser of goods
from Outdoor Direct under these
Terms and Conditions.
Prices
Prices shown in our catalogue and on
our web site are correct at the time
of printing/uploading but are
subject to alteration without prior
notice. All prices are exclusive of
delivery costs.
Payment
Payment is due to the Outdoor Direct
in full prior to despatch of goods.
Claims
Claims for loss or damage to goods
in transit cannot be accepted unless
Outdoor Direct is advised within
48hours of receipt of goods in the
case of damage. Outdoor Direct must
be informed in writing within 7 days
of date of expected delivery in the
case of loss. Outdoor Direct will
not entertain claims made outside
the stated time limits. For your own
protection, please obtain a receipt
from the carrier, as the company
accepts no responsibility for lost
parcels.
Ownership and risk
The risk of the goods passes to the
buyer upon delivery, though the
ownership of the goods remains
vested within the company until full
payment has been received and
cleared.
Returned Goods
When goods have been ordered in
error or are not as expected,
Outdoor Direct may agree to their
return on the following conditions:
a) A request must be made to Outdoor
Direct, within seven days of receipt
of goods
b) If you wish to return unwanted
goods, please ensure that any
product you have bought is in its
original condition, unworn or unused
and sent back to Outdoor Direct with
its original packaging.
c) Refunds will be subject to the
purchase price less 15% handling
charge. Carriage charges will not be
refunded.
d) Goods that are given free, as
part of an offer, are not
exchangeable or refundable, unless
the full offer is returned, subject
to normal conditions.
In the event the Buyer wishes to
return goods, the returns policy
detailed above will only be
implemented at the discretion of
Outdoor Direct following a review of
the circumstances that have led to
the Buyer making such a request and
Outdoor Direct reserves the right to
refuse this request.
Delivery
Every effort is made to dispatch
goods within 48 hours of receipt of
the cleared payment. The times
quoted (if any) are so quoted in
good faith, but shall not be
binding. Outdoor Direct can accept
no responsibility for transport
delays or circumstances out of their
control causing late delivery.
Delivery charges
Delivery charges will be added to
the cost of the goods and will be
calculated and advised at the time
of order or soon thereafter.
Cancellation
Due to the fact Outdoor Direct
supplies specialised equipment,
ORDERS CANNOT BE CANCELLED and
payment must be made in full.
Guarantee
All items are guaranteed according
to the manufacturer’s warranty.
NB
These Terms and Conditions apply
solely to the goods that require
payment to be made out to Outdoor
Direct. Orders that require payment
to be made to another company (where
Outdoor Direct is acting in an agent
capacity) are excluded and the Terms
and Conditions of that other company
will apply. |
